The Roque Bluffs, Maine Poetry Festival takes place on August 2nd in Roque Bluffs, Maine. Alice Persons will direct a poetry workshop at the RB Community Center from 9:30-1:30, and an open reading takes place at 6:00 PM, following a bean and ham supper.

Maine poets at Beat Night at the Press Room, Portsmouth, NH
John McVeigh of Portland, Nate Amadon of Portland and Alice Persons of Westbrook will be reading at this long-running fun event at the Press Room, with the Larry Simon Ensemble, a fabulous jazz band.
